FRP / Fiberglass Grille

FRP Grille and Fiberglass Grille Panels

Corrosion-resistant FRP grille and fiberglass grille panels for ventilation, screening, covers and architectural infill.

What Is an FRP Grille?

An FRP grille — also called a fiberglass grille — is a glass-fibre reinforced plastic grid panel used where airflow, screening or security infill is needed without the weight or corrosion of metal. ZeAllgrate moulds fiberglass grilles with a range of grid openings, thicknesses and resin systems to suit ventilation, fencing, covers, machine guards and architectural screens.

FRP Grille vs FRP Grating

FRP grating is load-bearing flooring for walkways and platforms. An FRP grille is generally a lighter, non-load-bearing grid used for screening, ventilation, infill or decoration. ZeAllgrate manufactures both: see our fiberglass grating page for structural flooring and this page for grilles.

Fiberglass Grille Applications

FRP and fiberglass grilles are used for louvre and ventilation screens, fence panels, window and door infill, machine guards, trench and pit covers, balcony and railing screens, and architectural cladding. Because the composite is corrosion resistant and non-conductive, grilles last outdoors where steel rusts and are safe around electrical equipment.

Materials and Customisation

ZeAllgrate fiberglass grilles are manufactured in polyester or isophthalic resin, with optional UV stabilisation, fire-retardant resin, and custom colours. Grilles are supplied in standard panels or cut to your exact size, with grid openings chosen for airflow or security. We also supply matching FRP grating, covers and handrail systems for a complete solution.

What sizes are fiberglass grilles available in?
FRP grilles can be made to custom dimensions and cut-to-size, with a range of grid openings to suit airflow, security and aesthetic requirements.
Is a fiberglass grille fire retardant?
Yes, with a fire-retardant resin system. Specify fire-retardant FRP grille for areas with ignition risk.
