What Affects FRP Grating Price
Resin System
Orthophthalic polyester is the most cost-effective general-purpose option; isophthalic polyester adds corrosion resistance at a modest premium; vinyl ester for heavy chemical/offshore service is the highest grade but longest lasting.
Thickness & Process
Deeper panels (38/50 mm) and pultruded profiles use more material and carry higher loads, so cost more than 25/30 mm molded walkway panels. Anti-slip gritted or concave surfaces add a small surcharge.
Quantity & Processing
Larger project orders lower the unit price. Cut-to-size panels, shaped cut-outs, bolt holes and stair tread profiles add processing cost — but still far below steel grating installed life-cycle cost. Shipping to your destination is calculated separately.
