FRP (the US term for glass fibre composite, also called GRP elsewhere) is lightweight, non-conductive and corrosion-proof, making it the default flooring for chemical plants, water treatment, marine and offshore projects. We control the whole process — fibre laying, resin impregnation, moulding/curing, cutting and finishing — so quality and lead times stay predictable.

FRP Grating Manufacturing Process

Molded FRP Grating

Continuous glass fibre is woven and impregnated with thermoset resin in a mould, cured as a single monolithic panel. Molded FRP grating offers a bidirectional, square-mesh panel with good impact tolerance and is well suited to walkways and platforms.

Pultruded FRP Grating

Glass rovings are pulled through a resin bath and a heated die to form continuous profiles (bars, I-beams, tubes), then assembled and cross-linked. Pultruded FRP grating delivers high stiffness per weight for long spans and heavy loads.

Finishing & QC

Panels are cut to size, edged, drilled and surface-treated (gritted or concave) before inspection. Mechanical, fire-resistance and dimensional checks follow our ISO 9001 system, with CE, ASTM E-84 Class B, ABS and Intertek backing.

What is the difference between FRP and GRP grating?

They are the same composite material. FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) is the US term; GRP (glass reinforced plastic) is used in the UK, Australia and Commonwealth markets. ZeAllgrate manufactures both under one production line.

Do you manufacture both molded and pultruded FRP grating?

Yes. We produce molded (monolithic square-mesh) and pultruded (built-up bar) FRP grating, in 25/30/38/50 mm thickness, in polyester, isophthalic and vinyl ester resin.
